The Role of Job Cost
BusinessWorks’ Job Cost module can track labor, materials, equipment, overhead, subcontracting and miscellaneous costs for an unlimited number of jobs or projects. A wide variety of reports help budget, control and manage jobs to help you optimize your profit potential. Job Cost is fully integrated with other BusinessWorks modules.

- Calculates estimated cost and price of job based upon estimates assigned to a phase
- Automatically calculates estimated cost of phases based upon job code detail

- Tracks estimated costs, actual costs and change in estimated costs from change orders for jobs, phases and job code detail
